A visual journey through Roia
Step into Roia, where culinary artistry meets heritage charm. Our gallery captures the essence of dining at E.J.H Corner House — from the LAANK-designed interiors and Chef Priyam Chatterjee's exquisite creations to the breathtaking views of Singapore Botanic Gardens.
The Heritage Venue
E.J.H Corner House is a beautifully restored 1910 colonial black-and-white bungalow, once home to Professor Edred John Henry Corner, the Assistant Director of Singapore Botanic Gardens. Surrounded by tropical palm trees and lush UNESCO World Heritage greenery, this heritage building offers an enchanting escape from the city.
LAANK-Designed Interiors
The interiors, designed by LAANK, embody quiet luxury with warm and soft colours, walnut furniture, and metal accents. A muted palette and natural materials encourage guests to appreciate the intricacies and textures that complement the surrounding gardens. The dramatic chandelier, inspired by spores and fungi — a tribute to E.J.H Corner's mycological work — sets against the lush botanical backdrop.

Our Dining Spaces
The Balcony
Our main dining space on the second floor features floor-to-ceiling glass windows with panoramic views of the Botanic Gardens. Spacious yet intimate, it offers the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience.
The Private Salon
Located on the ground floor, this intimate space seats up to 10 guests. Inspired by Grandma Corner's elegant drawing room, it features framed memorabilia, mushroom specimens, and historical pictures of Corner House.
The Terrace
Al fresco dining surrounded by tropical greenery. The terrace tables offer the best experience during daytime, with ample natural light streaming through and unobstructed garden views.
Culinary Artistry
Chef Priyam Chatterjee's progressive Indian cuisine is as visually stunning as it is delicious. Each dish tells a story — from the Roia Toast inspired by his first curry puff in Singapore, to Fungi & Corner paying tribute to Professor Corner's fascination with mushrooms. Edible flowers picked fresh from the Botanic Gardens adorn our plates.

Singapore Botanic Gardens
Roia is privileged to be nestled within Singapore's only UNESCO World Heritage Site. The verdant views of the 165-year-old Botanic Gardens create an unparalleled dining atmosphere. We source herbs and edible flowers directly from the gardens, picked minutes before serving to ensure the freshest botanical experience.
"One of the most appealing aspects of dining at this location has always been the verdant view. Whether it was Au Jardin or Corner House and now Roia, that aspect has not changed and never gets old."
